2 for 2

Good news, all the way around!

Mom's blood count cells are back to normal. It's the low end of normal, but hey, we'll take it. No postponing chemo!

We had to wait over 30 minutes in the treatment room, but she got the best nurse there. She's the nurse who gave Mom the 1st chemo treatment, was there with a hug when Mom had her breakdown moment during hell week, and guess what . . .

She's going to be working on Monday when Mom gets the 2nd and final round of chemo. Best Nurse only works part-time, so the timing is awesome.

Everyone who is praying, keep praying, it's working!

Best Nurse says that next Friday when Mom is unhooked (for the last time) from the chemo, they can pull her PICC line out. Whew Hoo!!!! (Could be the best news of the day)

Today, light is shining. It's still a little ways off, but I can see it. It's the light at the end of the tunnel and man does it look good!

Oh, and we are going to the make-up party tonight. They'll give Mom all kinds of free skin care products and make-up so that she's looking good at the finish line!

Thank you God for Good Doctors, Good Nurses, Good Technicians, and for Good News!
